Fundraising

Asked back for a second and longer period this year, Homebase were very pleased with our efforts last year and at Easter that they would like to help us raise funds again this Christmas. Please, please try and make every effort to attend at least one session. Details have been emailed out to all and your response is required NOW for a chance to assist us in this event. Dates are 3/4 Dec and 10/11 Dec. *** STOP PRESS*** After everyones fantastic efforts, we raised over £1200...thanks to all who helped!

After our very successful Christmas Fayre last year, we are pleased to announce that our 2011 event will be on the 27th November - there will be some new and exciting stalls openning up from 12pm, make sure you pop along to support us if you can! **Stop Press** We raised a Squirrel ridding amount of £650 - thanks to all!

Have you done your bit this year for fundraising for the group? If not, or your just really kind and would like to help more - please come and help us put up and/or take down our tents in aid of Burnham Grammar's Activity Week - ask your leader for details on how you can make a difference. **Stop Press** This year we managed to raised £600 towards our funds and housed over 120 pupils for the week! Thanks to everyone who put up and took down the tents!

In January 2011, we were lucky to receive notification of our success in winning nearly £3000 from the Grassroots Funding Organisation. The money awarded was to update and replace our current Hot Water System - which is a great benefit to all! We are very grateful to the organisation for the help, guidance and of course money for our Scout Hut.

Our first Christmas Fayre event is looking to be a sparkling, festive, fun event to get you in the mood for the forthcoming holiday season.
